Purchased three colors for covering my hydroponic garden. Look great and provide the shade I needed.Only issue is they use cheap straps for the D rings. They wear out from the UV exposureAfter I installed this canopy, a big gust of wind and rain came and afterwards the canopy was sagging. I had to relocate two anchors to get it tight again. I estimate 10” on one side and 13” on the other side. This is a practical and well-designed shade sail. I recently purchased several rectangular sails from this brand in various sizes to protect my garden areas from too much sun and heat and to use with the windows along the sides of my house. The reviews for all of them are pretty similar. They worked out so well that I also ordered a couple of triangular ones to create a seating area in the backyard. The fabric is strong and tough, and the curved shape of the sides allows for easy set-up and the wind can pass through without tearing the fabric. The corners have sturdy rings and are well reinforced. This 18' X18' X 25.5' shade wasn't quite as easy to install as the rectangular ones, according to my husband, who did the majority of the work. I ordered one of the hardware kits that included the turnbuckles, latches and wood screws that were needed. I helped a little by holding the cord on one end while he was adjusting the tension on another, but outside of that I was probably more of a hindrance than anything else. The shade is really large and it didn't quite fit where I had intended it, but my husband was able to come up with a workable solution we now have a nice area to relax in the shade in an otherwise under-used grassy part of the yard. I ordered the beige color and the shade looks much nicer than I expected -- it blocks quite a bit of light and keeps the area much cooler than surrounding areas, making it a very pleasant place to just sit and relax. The fabric is permeable to water, so there won't be any pooling to weigh the shade down which is a bit plus. It has been up for a couple of weeks now, and so far so good -- we had a pretty good rain and some fairly strong winds and it is holding up well, with no fading, rips or tears. The current price of $41.99 seems very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand again or recommend it to others.Sunshade needs to be adjusted a few times as it stretches out . Easy to install and provides plenty of shade . Perfect for the area I needed !I purchased a 18x18x25.5 sail for my back yard and I absolutely love them .They've transformed the comfort of being outside from intolerable to enjoyable in the matter of a week. The temperature in my backyard gets in the 100's before summer has begun. I finally decided to bite the bullet and install 2 sails in my yard. The quality of the sails appears to be really good. I put a lot of torque on them to get them tight as a drum and there isn't any sign of over stress or tearing. I didn't use the included hardware however, instead opting for steel wire and heavy duty turnbuckles. For a $40 sail, I figure if it lasts me 2 seasons it was worth it. I spent $200 on a 10 foot umbrella that bit it in less than 6 months. Now that I'm done with the project I'm going to add a third sail on the West side of my yard to give a bit more coverage. I was really happy that the sails don't block out all of the sunlight as well as not tinting everything a certain color in the sun.
